Working out if nouns are singular or plural rapid guessing game

Plurals simplest responses game
Listen to your teacher read out a word and raise the “singular/ one” or “plural/ a pair of/ two or more” card depending on what you think about the grammar of that form of that word. If you aren’t sure, think about whether it would take a singular form of the verb (e.g. + “is” or “has”) or plural form of the verb (e.g. + “are”).
