Adverbs of frequency bluffing card game
Instructions
Secretly choose an adverb of frequency card, then choose a “true” card or a “false” card, and make that kind of statement matching the cards that you chose, e.g. a false statement with “always” or a true statement with “sometimes”. Answer any questions your partner has about your statement (continuing to lie or continuing to tell the truth), then they will guess if your statement was truth or imagination.
Useful questions to ask about the other person’s statements Where/ When/ Why/ How/ How long do you…? Who do you… with? Why don’t you…? When did you last…? |
