Instructions for teachers
Cut up one set of cards per group of two to four students, plus one un-cut-up copy per student to check their answers with and keep. The cards can be used for:
- students to put into columns by pronunciation of the -ed ending
- students to turn over and try to find pairs of cards with the same ending pronunciation (pelmanism/ pairs/ the memory game)
- students take turns adding one of the verbs to continue a story set in the past
