Superlatives Pictionary challenge
Instructions for the teacher
Decide if you want to use the cards in the superlative form, or in the basic form for students to change as they go along. Photocopy the animals and adjectives, if possible on different coloured paper, e.g. blue for the animals and pink for the superlatives.
One student takes one of each card and everyone competes to draw “the smallest crab”, etc, then vote on which sketch is the …est/ the most…
After finishing the game, they can try to work out the rules for making superlatives and/ or test each other on the superlative forms of the cards that they were just using.
Adjectives to test each other on and work out rules for:

- scary
- fat
- ugly

- disgusting
- thin
