Fun active practice of this/ that and simple word recognition through students racing to touch the right one of two cards with the same word on.
Lesson Plan Content:
This & That Slapping Game
Put all of the “This cards” at the nearest end of the floor, room, whiteboard or table, and all
the “That cards” at the opposite end. Race to slap the card that the teacher or another
student says, making sure you touch the right one of “this” or “that” each time.
