B2 First Use of English Part Four sentence transformation hangman game

Rules of the game

Choose one of the phrases below and try to guess the transformed sentence one letter at a time from the beginning of the sentence, e.g. “V”, “E”, etc for the top example below. You will get one point for each next letter you guess correctly. However, stop and say “Stick” when you aren’t sure about the next letter, because if the next letter you say is wrong you will lose all your points from that round of guessing. For example, if you say “Stick” after getting the first four letters right, you will get four points (which cannot be lost). However, if you guess the fifth letter and get it wrong (instead of sticking on the fourth letter), you will get no points for that round. You must guess exactly the same letter as in the answer key, even when other answers are possible. If there are names in the sentences, they are always “T, O, M” for “Tom”. When you finish one question, choose another and do the same.
