Context: I describe the drawing of a maze game that someone solved.

A line starts at the entrance of the maze and ends at the center thereof.

Is it clear that by thereof, I mean of the maze and not of the entrance?

It's not good. Just delete thereof and you've got a perfectly clear sentence.

Shouldn't I write center of the maze to make it clear what center I'm talking about?

The natural assumption is that it is the center of the maze that is referred to.
