I have been teaching for quite a few years and currently teaching EAP in a university, which I like. However, I would like to further my qualifications a bit as I am not sure how good the job opportunities will be outside where I am currently based (China). I have an MA TESOL and CELTA. I am considering things like DELTA (done module 1 but haven't doe any others), doing a higher ed. fellowship has been suggested - but I don't really see the point in doing these! I don't want to do a phd as I'm not interested if ELT academically.
I would rather learn something new, but not totally unrelated to university education. I am thinking of e-learning design but I'm not sure I'd be any good at it...I also though of guidance counselling but not sure if doing an MA in it is worth it as it seems kind of common sense..
Does anyone have any ideas? Or any courses they did that was really beneficial? I am open to anything.
