These sentences are from my essay.
"Overall, both rooms have the basic elements of tables, chairs, a whiteboard and a lecture platform, though the second room has considerably more chairs than the first."
"The bottom half of plan B depicts a lecture platform and three tables with guest chairs on both sides that/which are arranged circularly."
1) Is my use of the term "basic elements" okay?
2) Is it acceptable to use "though/although" in that way?
3) When describing maps, I frequently find myself confused about whether some relative clauses are defining or non-defining and as a result, confused about whether to use which or that or to enclose the additional info in commas.
"...both sides that/which are arranged circularly."
In this case, is the relative clause a restrictive or nonrestrictive one?
