Need help - Abstract editing

I need to submit an abstract but do not think it is good.

There are some tweaks to make to the first part, but once you get to "As an alternative," I am unable to understand your meaning at all. It leaves me completely mystified.

In the first part, delete "Furthermore." Change "Nevertheless" to "However." What are the limitations and exceptions in? Copyright law? Whose literature? The noun "determining" takes the singular verb "remains." But then... I have no clue.
