Hello!
I am volunteering at a remote non-profit school in Haiti and will be teaching elementary and high-school students English as a second language with an emphasis on developing critical-thinking skills. I am hoping to use, modify, and/or develop a curriculum that not only could be used again at the school, but that could be potentially replicated at other schools around Haiti by teachers who are not native English speakers.
Does anyone have any free or inexpensive resources that can be accessed online that they would recommend that has lesson plans guides that would be helpful to me? Especially lesson plans that do not require a lot of materials. Or alternative ideas how how to help students learn English outside the classroom?
Thanks in advance!
