These sentences are from my essay:
"There are three main roads in Garlsdon, all of which originate from the border of the town centre: the northwestern one is 12km long and leads to Hindon, with a population of 10,000; the southwestern one, 16km long, provides access to Bransdon, with a population of 15,000; and the southeastern one, 25km long, links the town to Cransdon, with a population of 29,000."
"S2 is situated just off the northwestern border of the town."
1) Did I use those semicolons grammatically?
2) Is it correct to say "originate from the border of"?
3) Does "16km to Bransdon" imply or mean that the road is 16km long?
4) Is "border" an accurate word to use?
