I'm finding it difficult to understand The following sentence.

1) How should I understand this sentence?

2) Can there be any word or verb which was omitted between the words 'feeling' and 'due to'?
Can I rephrase this as: 'conditioned through pleasurable feeling (which is) due to the beautiful appearance of persons or things...'?

3) What shoud I use as substitute for the phrase 'due to'?.

4)How Should I rephrase this sentence in simple way?


Sentence:

For example, conditioned through pleasurable feeling due to the beautiful appearance of persons or things, there may arise craving for such visible objects.

You enjoy looking at pretty things so you want to see more of them.

(That's probably oversimplifying it a bit.)

1) Tarheel's put it quite succinctly in post #2.

2) No, nothing is omitted.

3) You don't need to substitute anything but 'due to' could be paraphrased with 'resulting from'.

4) For example, there may arise craving for such visible objects that is conditioned through pleasurable feeling resulting from the beautiful appearance of persons or things.

More simply:

1) A craving may arise that is conditioned through pleasurable feeling.
2) This pleasurable feeling is directly caused by looking at beautiful things.
