I just watched a short video about western toilet facilities in Middle Ages. Commoners would use public toilets with a dozen people sitting next to next, whereas the king had his own private toilet. Kings’ toilets usually were placed in a room high above the sea. Therefore, some assassins chose to hide under the room and speared the bums of the kings and killed them. I’m sure if the story is true or not but I find netizens’ comments funny, “that’s probably how the word ‘ASS-ASS-in’ was invented”. If I were these people in ancient times, I would’ve pood or peed in the woods.
