Celta Pre-Interview Test Language Awareness

Hey Guys,

Having a little trouble in describing the difference in meaning between these two sentences.

a. If they offer you a job, will you take it?

b. If they offered you a job, would you take it?

I understand the difference, its just that I'm finding it hard to put into words.
