Are these correct?

I think they all work, but when I hear 'This isn't a typical preview for an action movie' the first thing I think is that it is an atypical preview for an action movie. That is why I have doubts about them.

Do you think a comma in #2 before 'for' would work?

To your question about the comma, no.

There is no ambiguity. In each case the second sentence clears up any ambiguity.

It is a bit odd to tell people what something isn't, but there are times when that makes sense.

I'm not keen on the repetition of "preview" in #4. It's there four times! Here's a different suggestion:

This isn't a typical preview for an action movie. In fact, it's not a preview at all, but a short film disguised as one. There isn't a full-length movie at all!
