If we aren't sure about the past event, we use a structure like the second conditional, but don't use 'were' for the first and third person singular:
If there was a security breach last night, it would be a serious problem.
(We don't know for sure whether there was a breach)
If we went there, we would always eat the curry. (whenever/if the occasion arose)
why is i that so many answerd true when its unbelievable??????????
