And is the same for: " My colleagues and I"??
Yes
I voted 'My brother and I', but I prefer to say 'Me and my brother'. I think it's time to accept an illogical change to the language as I'm tired of saying 'I was there with my brother'.
There's a song; "Me and my shadow...." What if my shadow were my brother?
Even though "Me and my brother" doesn't seem to be well accepted.. I bet many people use it when they want to emphasise "Me" and not other person...
Me and my brother is just horrible English in my opinion. I can't believe over 100 people got that wrong.
Willbut
'Me and my brother' is used in spoken English, but many people object to it and say it is wrong. To be on the safe side, I'd always use the second option.
