laughable says you laugh at, you wouldn't say its laughable if you would laugh at it, you would say was funny or sumthing along those lines

Laughable means that the somthing was "bad" so bad that its funny. Now if the film was a comdy, and it was laughable, was the film good or bad? After all it achieved its purpose didn't it...
