Raquet is a needless Franglaisism
lol, Franglaisism... that spelling also makes me feel like I should stress the second sylable instead. Unless I saw it in context like the sentence, I wouldn't think it was English at all.
I've looked at the dictionary and it says that racket and racquet are same. But I prefer racket since its spelling is familiar.
well...yes...both are the same
racket is a loud noise. racquet is an implement for hitting balls in sport.
